Sara Valentine, a native of Zanesville, Ohio, is an associate attorney at David A. Goldstein Co., L.P.A. Her practice focuses on a variety of areas, including insurance defense, personal injury, and complex litigation. While attending law school, Sara worked as a law clerk for David A. Goldstein Co., L.P.A. She gained invaluable experience handling a wide variety of cases, including medical malpractice, personal injury, breach of contract, insurance coverage, bad faith, products liability, and general tort liability.

Education

Sara is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science
and minors in Public Health and Music. Sara attended Capital University Law School’s
evening program, where she graduated cum laude. While attending law school, Sara received the National Association of Women Lawyers Award, the Pro Bono Legal Honors Award, the Esther H. Brocker Scholarship, and was admitted to the Order of the Barristers. Additionally, Sara’s comment, Voluntarily Stopping Eating and Drinking as a Viable End-of-Life Option in Ohio, was published in Volume 47 of the Capital University Law Review.

 

Honors & Recognitions  

Sara is a 2021 Super Lawyers Rising Star in the area of General Litigation. The Rising Stars award is given to attorneys 40 years of age and younger or in practice 10 years or less. While 5% of eligible attorneys are selected to the Super Lawyers list, only 2.5% of eligible attorneys are selected to the Rising Stars list.
Each year, Super Lawyers recognizes the top lawyers in Ohio via a patented multiphase selection process involving peer nomination, independent research, and peer evaluation.
